Das neue Boxset "The Polydor Years 1986-1992" der englischen Band The Moody Blues wird am 21.11. veröffentlicht und enthält zum ersten Mal neu remasterte Versionen aller bei Polydor veröffentlichten Moody Blues Alben: "The Other Side Of Life", "Sur La Mer", "Keys Of The Kingdom" und das Livealbum "A Night At Red Rocks". Dazu die bisher unveröffentlichte Live-CD eines Konzertes in Cleveland von 1986, eine BBC Radio Session und zahlreiche unveröffentlichte Titel. Die beiden DVDs bieten das schon lange nicht mehr erhältliche "Night At Red Rocks"-Konzert in remasterter Version sowie die seltene, exklusiv für den Fanclub produzierte Dokumentation "The Other Side of Red Rocks". Neben den sechs CDs und zwei DVDs präsentiert diese Box auch noch eine 7" Single "Al Fin Voy A Encontrate" in blauem Vinyl und ein 64-seitiges Hardcover-Buch. Die 7"-Single von "Al Fin Voy A Encontrate" auf blauem Vinyl dokumentiert eine seltene Aufnahme der spanischen Version von "I Know You're Out There Somewhere".
The Moody Blues verkauften in ihrer außergewöhnlich erfolgreichen Laufbahn laut eigenen Aufzeichnungen über 70 Mio. Alben weltweit und erhielten zahlreiche renommierte Awards. Seit 40 Jahren sind sie eine feste Größe in der Rockmusik. Auch in der zweiten Hälfte der 1980er feierten The Moody Blues enorme Erfolge, insbesondere mit dem Hitalbum "The Other Side Of Life" und der gigantischen Hitsingle "Your Wildest Dreams". Zu dieser Zeit begeisterte sich die Band auch für das aufkommende Videozeitalter und produzierte eine Reihe von Promovideos, die bei MTV ausgestrahlt wurden, und jüngere Fans ansprach.
"The Polydor Years 1986-1992" würdigt diese aufregende und wegweisende Phase in der Karriere von The Moody Blues und überzeugt mit zahlreichen Bonus-Schätzen.
